February 2 marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of the great Soviet composer, People's Artist of the USSR Grigory Fedorovich Ponomarenko.
For Orenburg residents, this date is of special importance, because Grigory Fedorovich is the composer of the world-famous song "Orenburg Puff Handkerchief."
On February 5, municipal collectives prepared a creative evening dedicated to this significant date. The event will be attended by the Orenburg Chamber Choir under the guidance of Honored Artist of Russia, Professor Olga Serebriyskaya, the ensemble of the Russian song "Razdolye," the groups of the recreation center "Youth," the recreation center "Rainbow" and the recreation center "Orbit."
