Orenburg became one of 12 cities of Russia where there has taken place the concert devoted to Rodion Shchedrin's anniversary
In the assembly hall of city administration of Orenburg the anniversary concert devoted to Rodion Shchedrin's 85 anniversary was held. Works of the glorified composer performed by municipal chamber chorus under control of Olga Serebriyskaya were heard. In the program of a concert there were choral compositions, piano music, arias from operas. A concert has taken place within the All-Russian musical festival "The Imprinted Angel".
- We are proud, the fact that Orenburg became one of 12 cities of the country where there has taken place a concert within the All-Russian musical festival "The Imprinted Angel". It is an appreciation of musical community of Russia of our municipal chamber chorus under control of Olga Serebriyskaya, all that becomes in the city for development of musical culture, - the head of department on culture and art of city administration Tatyana Reznitskaya has noted.
The Imprinted Angel festival is held by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Moscow conservatory, the Union of composers of Russia, widely covered in a federal format, in the Russian musical magazines. The festival is dated for Rodion Shchedrin's anniversary.
Rodion Shchedrin is the recognized master of the Russian and world art, the outstanding composer, the People's artist of the USSR.
Among 12 participants of a festival – the large cities of Russia and our city of Orenburg. The festival started on December 2 in Nizhny Novgorod. Concerts take place in St. Petersburg, Vladivostok, Borovsk, Kaluga, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Orenburg, Saratov, Surgut, Tula, Ulan-Ude and will come to the end in Moscow, on December 18, in days of celebration of anniversary of Rodion Shchedrin.
