Children's music school No. 1 named after P.I. Tchaikovsky, whose 100th anniversary is celebrated this year, is famous primarily for its teachers and students, whose names are known not only in their native city of Orenburg, but also in the country and abroad!

Among the first teachers of this oldest music school in the Orenburg region and one of the oldest schools in Russia were Sofya Nikolaevna Fedotova-Rostropovich and Leopold Vitoldovich Rostropovich - the parents of Mstislav Rostropovich.
Among her first students in the twenties was Vanya Dzerzhinsky, later - Honored Artist of the RSFSR, laureate of the USSR State Prize, author of the opera Tikhiy Don. Among the first students of the school were also Raisa Glezer, a teacher at the Moscow State Conservatory. P.I. Tchaikovsky; Galina Kozolupova, professor at the Moscow State Conservatory P.I.
