Rodion Konstantinovich Shchedrin: 85 years since the birth of the composer
His works are available to the widest circles of listeners. He has developed in the creativity the Russian subject more widely, than any of composers of his generation. From December 2 to December 18, 2017 the All-Russian musical festival "The Imprinted Angel" devoted to the composer's anniversary will be held. The festival of music of R. Shchedrin will pass across the whole country in the cities Nizhny Novgorod, St. Petersburg, Krasnoyarsk, Orenburg, Ulan-Ude, Tula, Moscow and many others. A concert on a birthday of the composer, on December 16, is planned in Vladivostok.
