The Orenburg chamber choir has returned from Aktobe (Kazakhstan) where the collective under control of the honored worker of arts of the Russian Federation professor Olga Serebriyskaya has participated in the International festival of choral music of "Zhubanov' Melody".
At a festival within two days the skill was shown by professional collectives: Theater of choral music of regional philharmonic hall of A. Schnittke (Saratov), the Orenburg chamber choir (Orenburg), Tsarskoye Selo chamber chorus "St. Petersburg Serenades" (St. Petersburg), the Kazakh chamber choir (Aktobe), the Mixed choir of musical college at Academy of folk music of D. Nurpeisova (Atyrau), the choral Tuning fork group of the Kazakh national conservatory of Kurmangaza (Almaty), the choral Yapuray group of the Highest teacher training college of M. Mametova (Kyzylorda).
The Aktyubinsk region is the Homeland of talented family of Zhubanov. This is Ahmet Zhubanov is the academician, the conductor, the founder of the Kazakh Soviet music and his daughter Gaziza Zhubanova is the outstanding leader of composer school of Kazakhstan, adequately continued business of the father.
During the festival the Orenburg chamber choir has been marked out by a medal "For the best performance of works by A. Zhubanov" in Kazakh..."
