"ST. MATTHEW PASSION"
Today we present to you an oratory to the music of Metropolitan Hilarion (Alfeeva) "PASSION BY MATTHEW" from the Concert Hall of the Orenburg Regional Symphony.
"Passions on Matthew" is the first musical essay written for the concert scene, but based on the traditions of Russian church music. Drawing on the musical vision of the I.S. Bach era, Metropolitan Hilarion at the beginning of the 21st century offered his reading of the eternal gospel theme, which took a worthy place in modern cultural life.
