The deputy of the State Duma Elena Nikolaeva, during working trips to the Orenburg region, shows special attention and interest in different competitive actions encouraging development of talents.
Participating in opening of the XI International competition of young performers of Leopold and Mstislav Rostropovichey passing in Orenburg, the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on housing policy and housing and communal services wished all its participants creative achievements and big victories.
Orenburg takes a special place in Mstislav Rostropovich's biography. It is the homeland of ancestors of the great Maestro. And exactly here, Elena Nikolaeva noted, competition which carries on traditions of classical Russian musical culture was born, keeping indissoluble connection between generations of musicians.
The idea of emergence of competition belongs to the maestro. In 1993 Mstislav Rostropovich visited Orenburg. Then he also stated the offer to found competition of young performers of Leopold and Mstislav Rostropovichey, having called it: "Competition of a name of the father and Orenburg is famous for rich cultural traditions. Around the world know and love creativity of municipal chamber chorus. And the children's festival of arts became "January evenings" a creative platform for young talents not only the region, but also country for a long time.
All this testifies to the high creative potential of residents of Orenburg and desire to keep and increase greatly all the best that was created by many generations.

As organizers of competition the city administration of Orenburg and children's music school No. 1 of P. I. Tchaikovsky acted. More than 70 young performers from 20 cities of Russia showed before professional jury the skill in playing a violoncello, a violin and a piano.
Names of winners were called by the chairman of jury who is given by the violoncellist, Mstislav Rostropovich's schoolgirl Natalya Shakhovskaya. In the nomination "Violin":
the diploma of the winner of the I degree Agayeva Varvara (Moscow), Abramova Valeria (Barnaul) are awarded;
- the diploma of the II degree - Kolesnikov Timur (Voronezh), Shchadilova Ekaterina (Tula), Stupakov-Konev Afanasy (Moscow), Zubenko Andrey (Yekaterinburg);

- the diploma of the III degree - Tkalenko Vasilisa (Yekaterinburg), Starikova Lyubov (Yekaterinburg), Chepurina Alice (Yekaterinburg), Ibragimova Alsou (Ufa).
In the nomination "Violoncello":
- the diploma of the winner of the I degree awarded Volodin Dmitry (Tula);
- diplomas of the II degree - Shtin Yana (Ufa), Lekomtsev Yuli (Yekaterinburg), Kuznetsova Elena (Snezhinsk);
- diplomas of the III degree - Fedoseyeva Margarita (Yekaterinburg), Chernyaeva Maria (Novosibirsk).
In the nomination "Piano":

- diplomas of the I degree marked out Lichmanova Darya (Orsk), Borisov Roman (Novosibirsk);
- diplomas of the II degree - Potapov Egor (Ufa), Uskov Andrey (Penza), Kopelev Dmitry (Ufa), Sheybak Victor (Orsk);
- diplomas of the III degree - Torgashova Elizabeth (Orsk), Kolesnikova Elena (Ufa), Fedosov Alexander (Orenburg).
The student of the Orenburg International competition of Л.и M. Rostropovichey was entitled:
- in the nomination "Violin" - Averkiyev Pavel (Orenburg), Kazantseva Maria (Yekaterinburg);
- in the nomination "Piano" - Guzeeva Darya (Ufa), Shilova Tatyana (October), Habibova Varonika (Orenburg), Suslina Anna (Orsk), Mukhametdinov Enzhe (Ufa), Ukhaneva Elizabeth (Orenburg), Baratynskaya Kira (Ufa), Solomatova Ekaterina (Miass), Pikhtulova Victoria (Orsk).

Grand Prix of the XI International competition of young performers of a name L. and M. Rostropovichey in the nomination "Violin" Kryachkova Tatyana from Barnaul received. Together with the winner of 1 degree Valeria Abramova they study in a class of the honored worker of culture of Russia Oleg Abrin. At a final concert of winners the public called Tanya Kryachkova encore three times.
