"Get up, people Russian!!" Grandiose execution of "Alexander the Nevsky" of S. Prokofiev in Orenburg
Municipal chamber chorus under control of the honored worker of arts of the Russian Federation Olga Serebriyskaya and the academic chorus of the Orenburg state institute of arts of L. and M. Rostropovichey (the artistic director and the chief conductor Svetlana Studennikova, the chorus master Olga Levchenko) became participants of the IV International festival of Mstislav Rostropovich.
On December 1 in the hall of regional philharmonic hall the Orenburg collectives, together with orchestra of the Center of opera singing of Galina Vishnevskaya the grandiose historical work of Sergey Prokofiev – the cantata "Alexander Nevsky" was heard. The soloist – the winner of the international competitions Lubov Molina. Behind a conductor's stand – Denis Vlasenko.
In the same evening which is devoted to the 125 anniversary of the composer Sergey Prokofiev fragments from the suite "Romeo and Juliette", and also his sonata No. 7 of the B flat major performed by the winner of the international competitions Davit Hrikuli sounded.
