The collective of the Orenburg chamber chorus under control of Olga Serebriyskaya congratulates veterans of the Great Patriotic War and residents on a fine holiday – the Victory Day!!!!

The Orenburg chamber chorus in these holidays took part in many celebrations which are carried out in our city.

Having laid on May 1 the foundation to a festive marathon a concert with a known baritone of Russia the soloist of New Opera theater, the winner of the International competitions Vasily Ladyuk, already on May 4 actors of the Orenburg chamber chorus together with pupils of music schools, choral staff of the social organizations became participants of a festive flash mob on Sovetskaya Street which drew attention of a large number of residents of Orenburg.

In the Great Patriotic War to songs the special role was prepared – they had to lift fighting spirit of soldiers and the back and to rally them round the public purpose, despite all losses and sufferings. Songs were called for a victory, consoled in losses and returned belief in tomorrow. They were sung everywhere: at the front, in shops of small-arms factories in the back, in guerrilla groups... On bloody roads of war of a song went together with soldiers, together with them they came back home. Even today, when sounds of war abated for a long time – these songs remind us those heroic and tragic years.

On May 7 the Municipal chamber chorus of the city of Orenburg with success acted in a gala concert "An echo of last war" in a recreation center "Gas worker", and already directly in the Victory Day on May 9 after military parade on Lenin square in front of veterans of the Great Patriotic War and the audience who came to parade songs of military years performed by actors of our chorus which participated in a gala concert together with other creative collectives of the city were heard again.

To veterans of war and residents also performance of the Orenburg chamber chorus under control of Olga Serebriyskaya in the House of Memory on Pobedy Avenue with which the festive song marathon came to the end in the evening on May 9 was remembered.
