The Orenburg chamber chorus under control of Olga Serebriyskaya prepares the new program for performance in St. Petersburg
At the end of July the collective of the Orenburg chamber chorus as the guest of honor will participate in the XII International festival of choral art "The singing world".
At a prestigious festival performed by the Orenburg chamber chorus seldom executed works – Ten poems of Dmitry Shostakovich on verses of a revolyutsionna of poets of the end of XIX and the beginning of the XX centuries will sound.
"Ten poems" differ in use of intonations of revolutionary songs, such as "It is tortured by heavy bondage", "Varshavyanka", "Dared, companions, in a foot", epic character, courageous use of a deklamatsionnost. The brightest numbers of a cycle — "The ninth of January" (No. 6) of a strict choral warehouse with flexibly changing size, sounding, generally on forte and fortissimo, and following, "Ceased volleys overdue", in extremely silent sounding, intoned in the beginning odnogolosno (violas), with an avaricious, reserved melody which supporting voices gradually join; only in the silent culmination on piano pianissimo and in finales appears the polnozvuchy …
